CGWA welcomes the input of visitors. Visitors who choose to speak at a CGWA meeting will be invited to speak for up to 3 minutes at the start of the meeting. Visitors will be asked to state their name and any group affiliations prior to speaking, which will be recorded in the minutes.
Visitors do not have a vote in issues that the board votes on. If visitors would like to comment on an issue during a discussion, they will be asked to raise their hand and speak when called upon by the meeting Chair.
Visitor comments are most effective when brief and relevant to the topic at hand. The Chair may choose to close the discussion to visitor comments when deemed necessary. This policy will be read aloud at the start of any meeting with visitors.
