“I love the Gorge because of how much love there is for windsurfing. Everyone there loves the sport, and it is super windy all the time! Its great place to be int the summer!”

What are you up to these days? Organizing the American Windsurfing Tour

How do you see the sport of windsurfing evolving in the next 10 years? Growing leaps and bounds!

Who are your heroes? Ahh, That is a very difficult question because there are too many to list here, but here are a few: Katie Crafts, Robby Naish, Matt Pritchard, Kevin Pritchard, Francisco Goya, Keith Teboul, Russ Faurtot, Martin Lenny, Rich Page, my family, the Kuau Yacht Club,  all the sponsors and supporters for the American Windsurfing Tour.

Tell us about a windsurf-related accomplishment that you’re proud of: First water start, first jibe, first attempted forward, organizing the Pistol River Wave Bash last year.

Do you have a Gorge memory you want to share? The gorge is the first place I really fell in love with the sport of windsurfing. Such a cool community there as well! The first time I went to the Gorge was during Windfest. I attended Wyatt Miller’s loop clinic and thought to myself, “I can do that!” Very inspiring and motivating clinic.

Have you participated in any CGWA programs or events? I have attended three Windfest festivals. Looking forward to this year’s!

Anything else you want to share with us? I heart the CGWA and everything you do!
